Patch Notes #21 ~ Quest Link Gui & Grace Period & Play in Linux

Fixes​

• Optimized several core systems to improve overall performance. Reduced draw calls and implemented asynchronous asset loading to ensure resources are ready when needed.
• Cooldown groups now behave like retail. Fixed issues where using certain items incorrectly triggered cooldowns on unrelated items.
• KD mouse movement has been adjusted to match retail behavior.
• RP charging and discharging mechanics now function like retail.
• Fixed a camera issue where dashing could cause the camera heading to lose its centered position.
• Improved trade validations and messaging for clearer and more reliable transactions.
• If character disconnects instead of closing game, player is navigated to login screen.
• UD4 is now available and fully working and providing shards as expected.
• A lighting problem has been fixed which could have made UD/TMQ instances too bright.

Quest Link GUI​

• Introduced Quest Chain system along with its full underlying logic to match retail behavior. Players can now follow quest chains and review previously completed quests to better understand the story and lore.
  
  
• Added an item-use icon to the quest indicator, allowing required quest items to be used directly when the appropriate target is selected, as in retail.

Grace Period​

Added a Grace Period system to handle unexpected disconnections or crashes:
• When a player disconnects, their character remains in the world as a semi-transparent avatar.
• The player has up to 120 seconds to reconnect and regain control; otherwise, the character will be despawned.
• This allows players to safely continue TMQ or UD runs with their party even after a temporary disconnect.

• Prepared a dedicated installation script for DBO Omega to simplify the setup process.
