The same issues I mentioned in the other two quests.
The mouse appears blocked when trying to pick up.
After picking up, the quest color or location on the minimap doesn't update, implying that the quest hasn't finished.

It didn't count as completed because it considers talking to the NPC again as the final step to count as completed.
Perhaps there's a point to be made here? I think removing the circle after collecting the item helps improve the interpretation of what needs to be done last.

I already wanted to do this in the past but unfortunately in the quest files the red indication marks are not connected with the sub-objectives that you have. For example if you have a quest which requires to kill,
8 squirrels and 6 monkeys it is not clear which red circles are meant for which mobs. Therefore hiding the red circles when the 8 squirrels have been completed is not possible.

This would require some quest structure extension (that is easy), for which all existing quests (that is time consuming) would need to be adjusted. For now this not on the current plans. Regarding the cursor symbol it has been fixed with 0.1.429.
