Notice
Most of these issues were introduced during (or exposed by) the 32-bit → 64-bit migration, and this patch focuses on improving stability around that transition. We are aware there are some more side-effects and we will take care of them.
New Party Auction Loot Feature
- The highest bidder wins the item.
- A 5% fee is charged on the winning bid (zeni sink).
- The remaining zeni is split among the other party members.
- Split amounts are calculated proportionally to how much each member was willing to bid.
- Minimum bid: 10,000 zeni.
- Reserve rules:
- If an item is reserved and no one bids, the reserver gets it for free.
- If multiple players reserve and no one bids, the winner is decided by dice roll.
Auction House Bidding System
- Sellers can enable bidding by setting a starting bid (minimum bid) when listing an item.
- Buyers can place bids as long as the new bid is higher than the current highest bid.
- Buyers can track all active bids via “My Bids” (accessible from the top-right dropdown menu).
- Sellers can finalize a sale to the highest bidder at any time using the new “Sell” button on the Seller page.
- Items can still be bought instantly for the full price (if a buyout price is set).
- The mail system has been extended to support the new Auction House bidding flow.
Listing Types
- Buyout Price + Starting Bid
- Item can be bought instantly for the full price, or bid above the starting bid.
- Starting Bid Only
- No buyout price. When the listing time ends, the highest bid wins.
- Buyout Price Only
- Original Auction House behavior (no bidding).
Important Notes
- You cannot outbid your own bid.
- Zeni is reserved immediately when you place a bid.
- Bids cannot be canceled.
- If someone outbids you, your reserved zeni is returned via in-game mail.
